Depends on the hood I think. But I know for a fact that some of them are heavier than the stock hood. I just think buying a vented hood is worth it alone to get rid of some of that hot air.

Just because it has carbon fibre cloth in the bonnet/hood doesn't mean it's real cf -chances are it's just a cf layer in fibreglass. Especially if it's inexpensive.

The AD9 is real carbon. Single layer even. It weighs about as much as a half eaten biscuit.



Get the AD9. It's glamourous and it makes people like you. Kinda like smoking.....
