Started my polishing project... damn.. it's messy.. cough cough..



I took existing pipes and practice with these...



These are pics from the first stage.. only using tripoli.. next stage is the white rouge, which gives the real mirror shine...











During the process... but I think I need to buy one of those expander wheels w/ heavy grits to get the rough stuff off... oh and those polish bobs to get those hard to reach areas...







I'm thinking of doing a detailed "how to" on this.. but don't know if i have the time...

UPDATE....



Just finished the:



Upper Intake Manifold

Efini Y-Pipe

GReddy Pipes/Elbow

Intake pipes

These still need to be hit with finer compound but it looks nice already



Still have to do:



P/S Bracket

Alternator

Water Filler Neck

Frame Bar

and other misc parts

I think the intakes that come w/ the FMIC are plastic... I have the actual intake kit.. which is about the same, but alluminum... or I could just have the older model..
