I'm looking at what I can do to get the most out of the FCs audio capability.

Basically, what can I do to the shock tower and dash to make the speakers sound the best?

I just have Polk EX components (6.5" rear, 4" front), hooked to an Alpine CDA-7875 60x4 Receiver.

Dynamating the inside of the shock towers, moving the front mids to the doors, anything.

Thanks!

Basically what you just said is probably the best thing you can do.... mount the 4" drivers in the doors with either a foam baffle behind or dynamat in the door and dynamat or even cheaper would be to fill the shock tower with polyfil (I know this sounds ghetto but it works). As for tweeter placement, the best imaging I found up front was to mount the tweeters on that lip that goes around your dash facing at you angled up a little. I've never had rear components in an FC but I'm sure there are plenty of good mounting points for those tweeters. Also, are you amplifying and crossing off the 6 and 4" drivers? I know the 4's minimum should be crossed off at at least 150Hz.

Havent done any separate amps or crossovers yet. They arent distorting at the volume I listen at currently so they should be fine for the moment.

Hmm...I have the factory recessed 4" adapters in the back cut out to where they barely let my 6.5s mount. Making a non ghetto version of that should help too.

Thanks!
