I'm gonna be running the Motec ADL... but alot of the display on those is numerical... Sweeping needle type guages are easier to read at a glance (ask any pilot) I'm also gonna be running a set of the cheaper autometer ultralite series for on-track monitering and just use the ADL for datalogging. My autometers are visible to my in-car camera also...
As far as autometer boost guages being inaccurate... *I* have been thru 2 of them so far... seems like after a year or 2, they do start to read incorrectly. All of my temp and oil & fuel pressure guages seem to be accurate though. *edit* i forgot... i did have 1 autometer fuel pressure guage go tits up on me also... it stayed at 30 psi no matter what.. even after i removed it from the car. |
