So how much would it be to do excactly what you did to your center console? Ive wanted to do that to mine since i saw the pictures of yours but my skills in painting and prepping arent that good.

Weird, I posted a response, and it didnt show up?

Thats just black plastic right? Slight texture to some of it? Not a problem

As for the climate controls, do the icons and what not need to be masked off or can they be removed?

Everything can be removed from the skeleton. You'll just get the plastic with holes in it. If you look at the AC panel, you can see a few places where the vinyl "****" has peeled off. I'm sure theres a solvent that'll strip it off real easy... Or I'm sure it sand's off... I can peel it with my fingernails...
