ok i have been thinking about getting a cap for my amps (prolly 1 0r 1/2 farad) and i was thinking if i got 2, couldn't I put one after the battery for the car's electrical system and one before the amps for the sound system? would that work or help at all??

 

why dont you consult a car audio website?

 

cuz i know it will work for the amps, just not sure if it would help with the electrical system...duh, pay attention...

 

yes, you can do that, and it will work just fine. a full farad cap will be your best bet...

Ummm.. I am not a car audio expert but... I know they make batteries for cars that use alot of power. They sell them at my local audio shop. They are pretty big and they run at about 200-300$ and most of all they dont have a very good warranty. But they claim it car run your car and any type of stereo you could possibly imagine. I would look into that first since caps also cost alot!

 

buy one of those batcap things their tiniest ones are like 100 farad, with their largest being somewhere like 1mil farad or something, i forget off the top of my head.
