Well I know you're damn good at fabrication, so my question is this: Could you make me a din panel to hold a turbo timer and DEFI Guage Control Unit? I'd give you all the specs, and you make what I ask for, how does that sound. LOL
I could of course make that, arent there din panels that hold 2 1/2 din panel

electronics in them already made?

AVAN:

How did you "cut" the autometer pod to make 60mm gauges fit? Is your pod for a 3rd gen, or did you modify another one? Maybe mine was different but there was no way in hell 60mm gauges would fit in mine.

Hmm thats making me think about how to make my panel look a little "different" from the ones you see all the time. Got any suggestions rob I was thinking maybe a small pocket in it would be cool? I only got on guage right now to mount so there will be a LOT of extra space.

You can get pockets, or just make one yourself.

Srce- if you need something you can feel free to ask.

I hogged my pod almost all the way out but still needed like 5mm. Thats when the heat gun came out.

Maybe I just got a shitty one or something, but it turned out DAMN good

I just had it installed on Monday. I found out that greddy has a universal 60mm pillar pod for like $20. It isn't the prettiest thing but it dosen't look too bad. It will work until I get a custom job done with a few more guages I need. I'll post picks if anyone is interested.
