i belive after the F1 was out of production (of course it was sold out, before it was built) the fastest car became the Mercedes-BenzCLK-GTR
also if i am not mistaken, the new FERRARI FX ,,,due out in 2004 will be the next fastest production car,,,just my $2.00

total cars right now...
1987 2.3 Auto convertible (parts car but very drivable)
1989 2.3 Auto convertible (where the parts are going)
1989 2.3 Auto Coupe (this is actually my baby I love this car)
1989 5.0 5spd convertible (the only fast one! LOL)
1988 Mitsbishi Cordia 5 spd (one of my projects..)

What's a Ferrari FX? I've only heard of the Enzo...which looks pretty nice, but can it really top the Callaway Sledgehammer? It went 254.7 MPH.
From what I understand, the turbos melted so the car didn't go any faster.
