Rap is one of the single most idiotic things I've heard in my life. Very little of it's done well. Any moron, and many do, can go on and on about hating everyone, being better then everyone else and what not.



But I digress.



I prefer real music by people with real talent. Dave Matthews, Lynard Skynard, Jethro Tull for the harder side of rock. Don't care for most metal and 99% of what I do listen to no one here would have ever heard of

 

Rap is funny...they produce one song, sell some singles, and then the rest of their music career is singing about selling that song.

 

Yeah or about how they got lucky in a fight and acutally managed to knock someone out.

rap went down hill after the 2livecrew were banned. Ok they weren't banned, but you all know the story. The 2Live Crew were just awesome.

My favorite 2 Live Crew song is probably the **** Shop.

I like old school rap like Ice Cube, Eazy E, AMG, old Naughty by Nature, 2nd II none and stuff like that. It reminds me of my Jr. High days

Thats some good hip hop. Dont rag on all the stuff that is sometimes categorized under it because it aint all the same.
