I'll have you guys know that I DID infact wear a nopistons shirt while filming for the season! It just wont be aired for legal reasons... lol



and to scott, the pot leasing was because we had sold off all of our pots 3 years ago. We didnt plan on fishing anymore and were just leasing out our crab quota to other boats. Since we came back to fish some more we needed pots, one of our good friends (whom we had come with us for king crab - eric nyhammer) owns another crab boat called the rollo (which was in season 2 of deadliest catch). So we paid him some cash to use his gear after he was done. Hence why we started so late ... we had to wait for them to get done.

Leasing is cheaper than buying and we were on a super tight time schedule.



Next year we'll have our own gear.

ooo quick edit: I dont know if you guys remember me talking about the my adventure show on the travel channel, but we are filming for the first season of it right now. Im heading to Kathmandu Nepal in about 6 days to take part in the rickshaw race. My production company is working with Doug Stanley (director of photography and 7 time emmy nominated DP) to create this show. Should be pretty sweet! With some luck it will secure a regular spot next year on the discovery channel or one of its smaller networks. So keep an eye out for that! lol

i listen to npr while on the road.. i like it.. too bad i lose it when i go out of reception.. do the broadcast on satelite radio?
