i fitted a new gearbox and clutch to a 1.2 8v Fible Italian Atempt @ Transportation punto last month for my mate, he lost drive last week and when the AA came he was told it was the clutch, defective clutch i thought at first but i have just pulled the box out and the clutch is A ok.
the gearbox input shaft splines are fine as are the splines on the clutch plate. The input shaft is also turning the drive flanges when i turn it by hand and feels nice and smooth in every gear
can anyone think of anything that it could be?

iv been sitting in scotland in the rain with no rotta mota thinking of going for another 7 those bog standard low miles no mods or as they have came to be nothing but sore heads :P hows everyone been state side???? anyone hunting down Fanny may???
