Most likely Jean will come back in the next one as pheonix. The only thing I didnt like

that much was the fact that wolverine killed lady deathstrike. In the comics weren't

they married? (Kelly Hu is a goddess) The story flowed well from beginning to end.

Wolverine's fight scenes were great. And Yes, more of Colossus would have been good,

but when you have as many characters as X-men does it becomes difficult to develope all

of them in a limited amount of time without just making it mush together. Nightcrawler's

fighting mixed with his morphing was a clever idea. The Rx-8 looked great. I loved X2,

(I'm going to see it more than once while its in theaters.) it surpassed the first one

by a lot and I hope the next one is just as good or better. I hope the next one delves

into Jean as pheonix and more of wolverine's past.

 

I just got back. The car only had a 3 second part but it was still bad ***. As for jean. I agree, Their was a shadow in the water that looked like the hood of an old firebird. Maybe it was just me. She will be back. The rest of the movie was slow. I only liked the scenes with nighcrawler. He was also bad ***!

 

I agree with tricky I think Jean will come back as pheonix but i think she will be the villian (if I remember correctly pheonix was a villion in the comiccs). Wolverine and Deathstrike were married in the comics I think but she wasnt a mutant if I remember right I thought she was part machine. In the next one I want to see Gambit come in.

 

there were two phoenix' a good and bad phoenix.



ive had to listen to the history and story from xmen comic books ever since it came out in theaters form some friends of mine, i never knew the story was so involved lol.

Ya Apollo I would also like to see Gambit as well as Beast in the next one.

There was a cameo scene of Gambit filmed, but it never made it through

the final editted version. Most likely you will be able to see it when it comes

out on DVD. I believe the person that did the cameo as Gambit was actually

done by a stuntman since they couldn't find an actor according to an

interview on www.cinecon.com. Whether Jean will come back as the good or

bad pheonix or a mix of both is up to director Bryan Singer who has not

filmed the movies' storylines according to how they were written in the comics

to give the films some "freshness" which I think he has done a great job doing.

 

About the Lady deathstrike thing, yes wolverine and her where maried in the the comics. She was half machine though, and most likey phoenix will be both villian and good guy(girl), but if they do that it mean X3 will take place in space. But thats only if there following the comics.

 

Colossus? Is that the guy with the metallic body from the mansion? He looked badass. And how could Jean come back as Phoneix? What are the Phoneix's powers? Sorry.. I've read a few of the X men comics, but not much.. Gambit's cool as hell.. so.. what ever he touches becomes explosive? Is that right? I watched the movie friday night and then my little brother wanted to see it.. so, I went again today.. but it was still worth it.. And I still think Mystique is badass/sexy..
