i sold my drums, am i not a true musician???
Brandon- Don't worry about racing him. He is too concerned about the looks of the car. Besides, your engine will last 2-3 times longer than his.

also..my engine will last longer than that..there is a couple of people runnign superchargers on juch higher mileage engine. one guy has 127k on stock engine with a supercharger running 11.01 in the q/m. Plus.. I NEVER said anything about his car..i actually complimented it in the kiills section.

never gave up on music, just needed the money for bills. having a credit history is much more important than something that makes noise.

eh, it is only a car forum, i don't take things to heart. if i met Joe(np94) in person, I would not have any hatred towards him. just a few harmless words.
and i agree, selling something to pay bills is totally different. i took a HUGE LOSS on that drum set. sold it to a co-worker though. i lost about 1900 by selling the drums.

same here...I understand that their are keyboard commandos..I'd actually like to race him when the tracks by us open back up sinc ehe only live 20 minutes or some from me I believe. I have a feeling that he has a better power to weight ratio, but its hard to launch a fd..and by then maybe i'll get some good tires to help me hook up..if I could get my 60ft down toa 2.0 i'd be looking at 12.5-12.9 in the q/m
