Well, you guys DO know that Gates has a substantial amount of Apple stock right?
MS needs Apple to be successful so the government doesn't see them (MS) as a monopoly.

They weren't using the apple for it's graphics, they were using the apple because it runs on the Power PC chip.
Mac's don't have better graphics then PC's and have not for many years now.

I think it depends on what you deem as graphics:
If you're talking about displaying graphics, for video games, then no.
But as far as video processing and rendering, Apples have statistically been much more powerful in processing video streams and editing them.
