I've been making a consistant 300 dollars every 2 days, with my paper trading. I'm working on this system and it well... seems to be working nicely. I have 5,000 dollars I'm playing with, just started this session about 2 weeks ago.



So far its like this (how i see it) with options,

I've read lots and lots of charts lately, and it doesnt take a steven hawkins to catch the patterns. But you buy a short call at the end of monday, where it will most likely be at its smallest point. Tuesday might go up might go down, wednesday will start to rise, thursday it starts to rise more, friday usually shoots up, monday, starts off rising, by the end of the day always drops. Especially toward the end of the month. The 2nd week of the month is when it usually jumps high, so I've been buying a lot of calls on the 2nd week.



However, I fucked up on this last one, because it was 4:30am, I had just made 450 dollars and thought .. man, the market is going up really steady and fast! By the end of the day it should end high. So I went to bed ... got up, checked my status, sure enough.. my *** was like 3 grand in the hole. I almost cried... lol But I learned from it and I wont do it again. Sell high!! dont hold out!! :-p



However, with todays big jump, im now only 1000 dollars down. Hopefully tomorrow will bring my back up. If not, this is the 2nd week of the month, so people are gonna spend money this weekend. Which means monday will sky rocket for atleast a few hours! And I'll be right there watching it.

Depending on what kind of trading you like to do.



I like doing options, you can make money if the market goes up or down. You have the highest returns on the shortest time lines. Its fun and exciting. Any honestly, its not tooooo hard. I have a bajillion things to learn still, but even knowing as little about it as I do, its still fun and I'm still making money.



Some people I know have turned a few grand into a million from just options trading. And once you start getting 100%+ returns on some days, you can see how its very possible.



but if you want to check out options trading i recommend www.optionsxpress.com, they have a great paper trading system there. It will help you learn how to play. You do however need to make an account with them, they are a broker. They are cheap though, their commission isnt very high and its a static charge per contract you buy.
