I saw harass the living hell out of him. I am about to do the same with the Paintless dent guy.

Call 1st thing tomarrow. Ask his receptionist to make arrangements for someone to meet you and show you the car. Who says the owner needs to show it. He sounds like he has "people" that do all kinds of stuff for him. Keep calling until you get somewhere.

I suspect that car is sweet. I am just going by the other cars he owns it seems like he might have took really good care of this one.

Phins you seem pretty established to have all this **** come at you and still be able to bounce back and be able to start a project like this. 200 bucks to find out that a car is ***** isnt that bad. Just thank god you didnt pick it up and found out it was a piece of **** after you forked over the money.

Goodluck with future projects.

Yeah really. I once got a tow truck, rode along for 3 hours to check out a merkur xr4ti in the ******* boonies. It seemed alright when i saw it, it was only 800 bucks, i figured...a fixxer upper. Get home, the underneath is completely rotted out, the wastegate is fucked, the speedo doesnt work and the tranny slipped.

I learned my lesson. I took every precaution when i looked at the honda and i figure i got a really good deal considering its condition. I could easily turn around and sell it for a grand or two more than i bought it from. I cuoldnt believe the amount of people who were calling the guy during the test drive. Even after close up inspection the car is in great shape. It's nice not to completely hate yourself after a purchase, lol.

If you think this is a joke or funny then you can pretty much assume my whole life is a joke or funny.

I want a turbo vert, i am selling my Jeep as we speak, I have enough money available to buy or build a nice turbo vert, but I need something decent to start with.

I have a rule of never buying anything worth more than 200 bucks on ebay. You will get burned. I've been burned. Ebay can't help you much except give you nickles and dimes to comphensate for the difference in your recieved value vs expected value of product. Their interpretation of expected value is way less than what you pay for.

and 200 bucks wasted is better than 5000 bucks wasted on a lemon
