Got a call from my mom not too long ago. She called to tell me that someone broke into her Grand Cherokee to steal a cheap *** CD player. Busted her Driver side back door window out and pulled the plastic trim from the center out so far that if she trys to push it back in place it will snap. and all this for a cheap extreme Audio CD player that you can get in wal-mart for $35-$40. cheapest place I found so far (other than junk yard) for the glass is $205.96 with tax and I think that includes on-site installation. Good thing is I just pulled my expensive CD player and my Sub out last Sunday or Monday. They left all my tools there, which is good cause its a fairly new 158pc tool set, but hell, why did they have to break the trim? I had a screwdriver sitting right there in the passenger seat that had both phillips head and flat head pieces. luckily they didn't cut the factory harnes, just disconnected the aftermarket one from there.



Apartment complex isn't doing **** about it either. Its supposed to be a "gated" apt complex and they still don't have the damn gates closed after 10 months of living there. at least if the gates were closed I would know to look around the apartments for my moms CD player.



sorry, know its a long post, but I had to vent my anger.

Yeah, i had a car broken into once and they stole a 10 dollar CASSETTE tape player. This wasnt even 10 years ago when they were still spiffy but no less than 3 years ago. It's a sick world we live in.

Theft doesn't seem to be that much of a problem in Iowa fortunately. If I did catch someone breaking into my car I would beat them senseless and if it happed to be around my house paint "IDIOT" across their head with a black magic marker.



That or hit them across the buttocks with my sword. Explain that to the emergency room

Yup.. that is why I am selling the system in the vert.. My brothers Car just got broken into and mY friend (Captain Skoobing) had his car brokne into Various times.. **** that..



Sorry to hear about that man... I have heard some real bad stories about car that have gotten broken into.. it sux..
