alright so im ******* sitting at my computer and it starts getting really slow out of no where. So I go to task manager and see 1000m of my 1250 m of memory is being used. Im like ok well let me zap some programs out. So I look in my processes and the highest mem usage is 25,000k and its AIM. so where the **** is all my memory going? I counted up all the running processes and it only totals to about 250m not 1000m. Anyone know how to fix this ****

spyware, trojans, b/g programs bla bla bla.

get spybot, adaware, and norton antivirus (or AVG for free).

defrag the drive after running those three programs.

and do a fresh reboot.

to avoid this problem stop surfing **** sites or free download sites, or any gimmick sites.

start>run> type "msconfig"

click startup tab>disable all except for a virus scanner

that'll free up a lot of mem for a while, till everything starts loading itself back up (aim etc...) over time.. quick and safe fix.
