I have a customer who just bought a M3 last year, sticker

was $54,000 on it, thats before tax

there is no talking them down either, if you dont buy it someone

else will.

While this is zO6 price territory, its not normal vette price

I know a few people last year who got vettes for $40,000

let me present another arguement:

most middle aged men growing up dreamed of owning a corvette

there wasnt alot out there once the muscle cars died down.

Even then muscle cars were just that- big cars with big engines,

they were not "sports" cars, they did not handle or stop very well.

So now your average everyday american is doing well in life, his

kids are out of the house, and he has some money to play with.

He works 5-6 days a week and doesnt have the time to mess with

building a car. So being that he lives and works in america,

he goes out and buys a corvette. Now he can

go to the corvette shows, meets, and he is generally happy that on

his day off he can go in the garage, turn the key, and drive the car.

Maybe he doesnt beat the ever loving **** out of it everytime he takes

out, because its not always about that- its about relaxing on your

day off, washing the car up, putting on some clean clothes, and

taking it for a drive.
