hl2 hasn't been released yet. Right now, CS is up to version 1.6 using valve's new "steam" software. You can download the steam client at fileplanet.com. Install your old CS version, then install steam, and steam will update CS for you. If you want me to come by and give you a hand setting it up I will. It should only take 40 minutes or so including download time.
