No Because what she went over was review. I remember from class last semester that there is actually a procedure to solving it, not just plugging in numbers. Sorry I take my education so seriously guys, I'll try to fail more often like ya'll in the future.

Nah, I would've just made the teacher look stupid by raising my hand and saying, "wouldn't it be easier to solve that by [go on to explain the proper method] rather than swinging your dick around randomly as a method for procreation?"
I wasn't trying to prove a point or trying to show her up. I was merely trying to do what I can to get the best education that I can. I refuse to be taught by someone like that when there are many other teachers here teaching the same course, but teaching it in a suitable manner. That's why I left. If I have to pay what I do to go to school here I better damn well get my money's worth and the way she taught is not satisfactory.

Good point, forgot about the whole "paying to be here" thing. Gotta hate not getting your money's worth. The only class I failed on purpose was because I just stopped going. It was an argument and persuasion writing class. But the teacher was incredibly stupid. She would ask a question about a contrversial topic, which would generally yield an opinionated response, then she would tell you you're wrong. I couldn't stand it. I stopped going, got the F, then retook the class in the summer and got a B or A (which cancels out the F at this particular school).

Well its obvious your NOT a communications major. Did you ever think to raise your HAND and have the teacher explain it a different way?? You know, communicate your concerns rather than be an *** and storm out of the class like a 2 year old that got your name on the board. Was it more important to you to look like a big shot and storm out of the class rather than muster up the gusto to *ask* the teacher to re-teach it?!?!?
Yes, we ALL must pay for college in some form of another, we get that. You are not the only person in college on this forum. But the way you handled that was rediculous. Are you just starving for attention?? You make a scene in college then you brag about it here on this forum. College is designed to prepare you for the business world my young friend and it seems like you have alot of growing up to do....

Sorry bud, reread my last response. I wasn't trying to get any attention out of this, I was trying to get a good education. Someone who teaches to plug random numbers in to solve an equation when there is a proven method that works, is not good enough to teach me, sorry. Like I said I waited for her to finish, and waited to see if she would offer another method but she didn't. She moved on to a different section. I know that if I were to stay in that class I would not get what I should out of the course. Stop trying to act like you're better than me, or that you know more. Get off your high horse. I related this story because to me, it's a dissapointment that Penn State would allow someone to teach in that manner. I wasn't trying to brag, all I was showing was that I was displeased with the way she taught, and the fact that she supports a method that is useless.
