worst start to a day ever

6:23 get in my car ready to go to work
6:40 get pulled over for "running a red light", find out my insurance is 4 months past due, watch my car get towed away while i now have 2 shiny new tickets one for a big fine and another for 2 points.
7:00 stand outside in 20-ish degree temps waiting for a ride as i watch the sheriff car pull away

well got the car back....47 for registration, 111 for impound.
i think the 1 ticket is $150-200, and the other is 2 points and probably like $70...hopefully i can get it down to less points or no points, who knows.

^ Yah, seriously dude, if it makes you feel any better, that would have cost you over a grand here in California. In fact, I think the penalty for driving w/o insurance is close to a grand by itself. Sucks about the points though. Trial by declaration!
