I just got back to school last night... and after recovering from my hangover this morning... i found out that one of my friends has World of Warcraft. I created a guy on his account... it is awesome. I'm poor, and i disagree with the whole pay to play philosophy, but its a damn good game.

 

yep.. it is a nice game.. fun to play.. easy to get into.. sux.. that you have to pay like $13 a month.. but it is badass.. what server does he play on?

yeah... i still don't know if i can justify paying like $15 per month for it... its alot for a poor college student. I mean... if you have to pay by the month, the game should be less than 45-50 bucks... I've never done one of the pay by month games before, but blizzard is awesome and the game is really good. I just can't decide if it justify's all the cash

 

i love this damn game... its super easy to get into..

you sleep? haha.. i do to.. the game is real easy to put down too, because if you leave you character at the inn when you log off he accumaltes a bonus on experience... so when you get back you get double exp for a bit.. if you leave it for like a week you might accumulate a whole level of bonus.. exp.. and when you get back you just rush through.. so you dont really lose progress if you dont play..



i play a gnome warlock as my main character.. pretty cool.. physically weak.. but he hasa strong spells and different minions he can summon.. to help fight.. or to take hits..



we had a huge raid wednesday night.. like 80 horde characters came over and attacked the human town of stormwind. it was nuts.. crazy lag but nuts... so we retaliated and took a town of theirs.. and went to the orc main city, ogrimmar.. it was nice.. i have some pics... maybe ill post them later..

 

what realm do you play on?

 

the name of the server i am on is "Uther".. it's normal.. not PVP./. the difference is that on pvp the moment you go into neutral territory(contested lands) you are ready to fight any of the opposing faction.. on normal you can go into neutral lands and are fine and dandy... unless you declare that you wanna be PVP.. then you are game for the opposing faction players to attack you..
