I do a lot of that. Right now I'm adding functions to a database that were supposed to be there when it was created, but the guy who created it never gave my employer a final copy, so I have to try and figure out what things were supposed to do and then build/repair the functions. It's actually pretty fun, and they love the fact that I get to things right away, whereas the guy I replaced would take forever to fix the bugs in his programs...at least that's what I hear.
