This sounds like a long story.

I see your point but even her mother should have a problem with it and not allow it. It would put a bit of a strain on my brain to even consider something like that

I doubt her mom would care....once I had a friend live with us for a month or so, money turned up missing, I cancelled him as my Best Man in our wedding, and if he were to come over for dinner, no one would really care

To be totally honest with you Baldy - I never have better communication with my Fiancee then when I'm straightforward. (Did i say that right?) I mean, the message is never heard unless I say it point blank. Here's a conversation she and I had on a similar subject:

Her: Uh, Sweetie? My Ex is coming back to town and I wanna go out for a bit with him.

Me: Well, you can do whatever you want, I'm not going to stop you. But know this: I will murder him if he even touches your hand. And I' want to meet him. And you're going to call me as soon as you get back. If I don't hear from you by midnight, I'm coming after you two, and I'm bringing my gun.

Her: Uh, that's a little drastic, don't you think?

Me: Yes it is, but I don't know this guy from Adam, so you can understand how I may feel protective, right?

Her: I understand.

Me: Let's hope so.

When i met him, I waited for my fiancee to leave the room.. I told him that if he tries anything I'll drive a railroad spike through his ear. He looked a little taken back, so I leaned forward and whispered "Oh, and I WILL find out."

turns out he tried to pull the line - you guys know, 'cause we all have said it.. "I really shouldn't have split up with you.. blah, blah, blah." I fought with my fiancee for an hour over whether I should go "talk" to that guy or not. I suppose it was pretty harmless all in all, so I didn't have to hunt him down. Rest assured that if he ever should come blindly wandering into my yard again, he'll have his *** handed to him. In little bitty pieces.

well the issue with living with inlaws is its 3 against one. when **** happens your wife will blame it on you and when her parents do something she will defend her parents. the easiest way outta this is getting ur own place and laying your foot down. now with the current situation, tell your wife that you do not feel comfortable with them staying there, for gods sake would she like it if your ex stayed over a couple days. its not a matter of trust going on, its a matter of respect.

like phinsup says : NoPistonsForums (11:47:09 AM): I mean ****, like I say my wife knows I'd be calling her a ******* taxi for even asking

good luck and just let your feelings be known. if all else fails, drink a lot when they are there and just throw drunken fits everytime they try and talk to u or get near u

Me and my girlfriends' ex-boyfriends (Whoa) don't mix. I don't wanna know their names, I don't wanna know how big of an ******* they are, I'm here, and I'm gonna treat her right so that's all that matters. Unless she's a complete bitch like my last ex. LOL
