If I were taking the car past 7k rpms I would be annoyed by the rev limiter buzzer. Is there a way to disable that thing?

yeah, its called free flowing exhaust on bridged secondaries... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Haha. I am talkin' bout cutting some type of wire. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Wire cutters=10 bucks plus time to get to the wire.

bridged secondaries with open exh=a **** load more than 10 bucks!

just keep redlining it, one of 2 things will happen

1. the buzzer will break and stop working

2. the buzzer will break and randomly go off at any rpm

or the engine will pop and then you wont have to worry about it.

Haha. That is my problem right now, so rev limiter going off right now.

What's the big deal with shifting above 8500? I think i regularly see 8750 on the FD... At least that's what it looks like, I dunno what maz revs on the FD are.

ColinRX7 06-24-2004 01:20 PM

Some day I will shift at 10!

Not my in my internally stock S4 though.. 7200 for me!

Midnightdriver 06-24-2004 01:42 PM

I got the same thing from someone that has no clue...He asked me what I was going to put redline at with my haltech...I told him 7K-7200 ..his reply was Why those things have no rev limit....but then he didn't really understand why I was removing my twin set up and going single...that poor poor man.
