It seems like for so many people to be addicted to a car, there must be something special about it. Obviously, we aren't enamored of the reliability or economy; if that were the case, we'd all be driving Accords. The reasons are probably unique to each of us, so I'd like to know why all of you love the RX-7 so much.

For me, the RX-7 (esp. the 3gen) is one of the purest expressions of what a sports car should be: lightweight, superb handling, beautiful looks, and room enough for yourself and another person to enjoy the experience.

I see them all the time...I don't even know why I like mine...hell, I don't even know if I like mine these days.

Once I get the rack replaced and get some insurance on it, I'm sure I'll be singing another tune, though. (I blew apart my steering box)

I think I might go with a non-ps rack...but just in case I change my mind, how much do you want for yours? Does it come with the steering box? Is there any steering lash?

I'll be in Morristown on the 25th...chances are I can stop by then.
