They are nice looking. Bit pricey, but they are nice looking. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

100% agree.

ALTHOUGH I would never race one high speed straight (say on the freeway)

Yeah if you like to Drag forget that car.

Looks really nice though.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

NSX is nice, but not that fast. I think the FD has more potential.

sure the FD has more potential to go fast...but i'm not so sure that's what i want anymore...i love the way the mid-engine platform handles itself on the track and around town...plus the fact that the NSX can pull ***** the FD could only dream of... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif

How often are you going to really feel the difference between the MR setup (NSX) and your "Close to" MR setup FD?

Since you just stated its not all about speed, and hence you won't see its limits in town (Unless you like to kill others, or yourself, or ruin property and/or your car) then just stick with the FD. Because that's a hefty price to pay for performance you won't see a difference in.

As far as on the track, does anyone know how these 2 fare head-to-head? Like AutoX, Road Course, etc? I'd imagine the gap wouldn't be that big...so even if you were a track guy...I'd say it's not worth the money.

But anyone who buys a car for "*****" shouldn't be buying an FD anyways, so sell me yours and get this Riced out NSX (Carbon fiber wing and on the dash stock? Oh come on....)

You can't handle the FD . . you don't have enough attention span to make her happy . . go ahead and move on. Everybody knows the NSX is a reliable Lotus, and we all have seen FC's take them down on real road courses. Get the mid engined Accord and be happy . . the rotary brotherhood will take over with the FD if you sell it through this board and not on ricer-bay.

i'd take an NSX just to cruise around in, but i'd never race it...EVER in any way shape or form. Just think of what it costs to replace a body panel or the labor required for engine/tranny work. You'll be like one of those 1920's dudes with the pockets turned inside out.

That i would like to see, An FD vs an NSX on the track. Ive seen alot of videos from japan where Rx7s outperform many other cars like the Skyline.

my cousin has a NSX, its Honda reliability, great handling,

decent speed, and he averages 24mpg, even with the AC on.

he uses it as a daily driver until the snow comes and loves it.

He has had plenty of fast cars including a ZR-1, GN, Mustangs

etc.. and he claims the NSX is the smoothest and easiest

car to drive hard he has ever come across.
