Was it Mazda, Savanna, or Infini??
I was of the understanding that Mazda made RX-7's worldwide. Now I am being tild that only in the US was the name Mazda used. In Japan all RX-7's were badges Infini RX-7's. I think that is total B.S.
I always thought Infini was an after tuner like AMG or Ruff is to Mercedes and Porche.
Someone that has been in Japan care to shed some light on this?

The FB in japan was the SA22c, it was sold under Savannah. The FC was sold under Savannah but there were some sold under Mazda. There is an Infini line for the 2nd generation. The infini III was the most sold, with a little over 1100 units. Efini was a chain of car dealerships in japan with exclusive rights to sell the FD in japan. The infini IV was the last made, in 91. It had basically no options, but it did have a more free flowing exhaust that gave it 15 or so hp, and did have a torsen type LSD. If anyone wants i can elaborate on the Infini IV.
