So where do I begin? I've been looking at surfboards on craigstlist, seems like I can get a good deal, but I need to know what I should start with? I guess I could rent the **** first, but what to rent?

Ive done it before, and really want to do more, but the surf here sucks. It takes a near miss from a hurricane to get any waves here, and then its too choppy to be good for surfing. But all the surfers still come out when hurricanes come by.

It's good here, not great but good. I am always going to these "awesome" surf destinations, Baja, Costa Rica, Islands, etc.... just need to hit that ****.

A friend of mine went to costa rica to surf. Sounded awesome. But in my severly limited experience, cocoa beach/sebastion inlet were pretty good.
