I am looking into getting a road bike and wanted to know what brands you guys ride and what models. Im gonna probably be in the $600 range which should be a good entry level bike like a Trek, Specialized, Fuji, and so on. I will be using it for pleasure, triathalons, and going to the store since my car gets 12mpg lol.

I have a 1973 Bottechia that I paid $25 for. Awesome bike. Put new Mavic rims on the old high-flange hubs, new Michelin tires, new seat and seatpost, new brake levers. The old style Italian steel frames are comfortable enough to ride all day.

Colorado Cyclist often has good deals on Tommasinis, check them out.
