Lol, reminds me of a similar experience that I had.



I went to the drag strip hangout a while back (probably about a month ago) with a few buddies of mine since one of em was racing. Some guy rolls up in a CRX and looks at me and says..



CRX: "Whose 7?"

Me: "Mine."

CRX: "I hear those turbo 7s are fast."



(If you've read my sig. you know that mines not a turbo, and if you know anything about 7s, you could tell its not a turbo by the lack of the hood scoop alone)



Me: "Its not turboed. Its an NA"

CRX: "Bullshit, I know that **** is turbo. You don't gotta bullshit to race me. If you wanna roll lets roll"

Me and friends: lol

CRX: "Whatever. If you wanna race ***** come find me."



Their stupidity never ceases to amaze me.

 

haha, i met up with a friend, who hangs out with a few rice rocket guys. we went to hang out, and i park and see a 'souped' up accord and a civic drive up (they spent so much money on shitty body kits and had every sticker imaginable. of course a nice coffee can out the back too)



they claim to be car buffs and began braggin about their mods. none of which did anything for performance.



they look at my car and see no kits or anything no stickers and ****, and i was parked before so they didnt even hear it (no emmissions, on t2 exhausts makes a nice sound)



here are some questions i got:



WUT IS IT? THAT CAR FROM BACK TO THE FUTURE RITE? DELOREAN!?!



wuts the displacement? 1.3 is really too small, you should just bore out the cylinders..... how do you have no cylinders? wuts a rotary?



after that i gave up and stopped talkin.



they moved onto other subjects but i did get a good chuckle when one said: hey i'm gonna get that modded computer chip, that lets me rev the engine to 9k.

Please encourage these idiots as much as possible!

There is a reason why Honda limits their engine speed

for stock engines, it's called "Valve Float".

If you want to see one of them cough up a piston, or at

least bend a vlave, tell them you "Heard from a friend that

those motors can easily spin to 10,000rpm!"

Then watch the fun!

 

Thank god I ended up getting a Supra instead of a Prelude...

 

ive seen it, some kid took out a rev limiter at school, revved to 9,500rpms and annihilated his engine, we looked at the pistons when we disassembled the motor and it was hilarious.



and the kid with a turbo mustang that cranked it's psi all the way up and toasted his pistons.

haha people are stupi, um my car looks like **** ok, and i have quite a few mods(full exh. nology wires 48 mm delloerto)it a 12a and i got this little flex fan it kinda wines when the engine hits 4,500 and kinda sounds like a turbo(its fun) well there is the average kid in his civic ex who thinks it can kill everything(well when i was nearly stock and half asleep at the wheel this kid raced me and kinda beat me (to tired to actualy put an effert forth to race) so i come back into town one day and he rolls up reving like there is no tomarow (he is in first by the way) so i kinda just dump it into 2nd wile he takes off well i am pulling pretty hard just chilling in second and after i hit third i kinda just let of the gas and started laghing, is this a bad thing????

 

Sweet. I'm gonna tell that to every ricer I meet.
