jaja, I am in florida, 2nd gen in Sarasota, just south of Bradenton, white 90 GTU, now stinky, since I put on the Bonez racepipe a couple days ago.

 

Didnt u tell me about a first gen with that sticker rotor pissing on a piston?

 

I know there is a guy that has a 1st gen that works at the autozone in Bradenton.

 

sorrow, yeah, that was me, there are about 3 rex's with the rotor pissing on the piston graphic in Bradenton, sort of, cough, ghetto folk, but they seem to be decent people over all.

 

I met some guy whos probally a Jr High school drop out..

Hes got a blue first gen..I seen him at Bradeton before and ran like ****..



We talked he asked me if I had engine work..I said no ..its not ported...I said im gonan go bridge with a turbo..then he laughs...





"OOh you sure you can do that...My mechanic says you cant....

Ï told him he better tell them boys from Miami they cant do that..they been doing it ..and running 10 secs all day..





He was with 2-3 RX7s...them guys look like straight up trailer trash..



I got a feeling they will be in Bradenton...and im probally gonan be with other first gens...I hope*

 

yeah, the dude I was talking about swears up and down you can't bridgeport a turbo, something about it raises the compression? wtf. but, oh well, at least he doesn't think honda is the end all and be all of performance.

I got a guy from Orlando who wants to run me..he will beat me cause hes boosted...



But he drives a Mercur XR4TI or some ****...its the same as a Ford escort turbo in england

 

ehh, I may go, as I have mentioned, I am not really that much into drag racing, as a spectator sure, just not really into doing it with my car, the way I see it, my rex was designed with road races, and autocross in mind, not going straight. after all, that is the whole point of the rotary engine, to get weight down, and get a 50/50 weight distrobution. That being said, yeah, I may show up, just for the hell of it, I am curious what I can run, as a benchmark if nothing else.

 

Well im hoping us 4 first gen guys will go..I got to help them work on thier rides on Friday and try to get mine tuned..

I want to run a guy ..I think he lives otu by you..he said his ride is street ported..but he runs like ****..



When he asked if I was ported..I said no..Soon I will be bridge and turboed..he laughted and said you cant do that ..my mechanic said you cant run bridge and ported..I said well you better tell them guys in Miami whos running 9-10 sec in the 1320..



Well if you go ..look for my ride..and a grey first gen ..very loud..and another grey first gen ..street ported..and a red first gen with silver ss stripes...
