i am pretty sure its this forum but someone has a .gif of a dsm crank, conrods and pistons walking around on the street and its hilarious.



anyone know who, or can link me to the .gif



need it for something for my friends dsm lol <---eshaftwalk

From the looks of it, it refers to "Crankwalk", the crank inside the block suffering from excessive movement causing crank angle sensor failure...or something.



It's one of those piston situations that requires a rebuild. I believe it happens a lot to DSM's.



I hardly consider it leverage against the "rotaries are unreliable" arguement, however...

And crankwalk usually occurs around 60k miles. Or could be 80k miles.



And some idiot at work said that Eclipses came in AWD.

what do you mean? they do come in awd? or is it 4wd or something technically wrong?





crankwalk is a big prob w/ 2g eclipses, but his a 1g 6/4 bolt so it really doesnt have that problem, i just thought it was funny to add since its still a dsm

i thought only dsm's that came in AWD were the turbo'd talons?? eclipses came awd/4wd?
