Whew

sorry for the week or so away, my computer decided to spring a leak. No pc hardware was damaged but the pump died from the lack of fluid. An overtightend screw caused the resevior to crack.
Seeing as how an upgraded system was in the works i went ahead and ordered all the new parts and then some, so for another 3-7 days im on my backup pc.

You were gone?
Watercooling rocks, but kits totally suck. This was my second WC comp, i built one for a customer before. I used a kit, never do it again.
My new parts will be here in a few days. Maze4 CPU block, Maze4 NB block, Maze4 GPU block, 370GPH pump, 120MM fan/shroud, and a 3 inch DD catchcan. Have a heatercore from a 77 chevy c10 to serve as the radiator.
All 1/2 tubing and fittings. As for the comp and how well the cooling works, with the shitty kit i have my AMD XP1800+ T-bred @ 2.3GHZ/1.775vcore @ 31C idle, 41C full load.
I expect 2.5-2.8GHZ @ about the same temps with the new one.

Intercooler?!! If you wanted to push it you can always run some water wetter in there! FO SERIOS. And you can always keep a little plug-in freezer next to the comp and periodically put ice crystals in the system
