Both parties in that video were stupid. The guy was so anti-skater he let his little bit of authority go to his head, while the kids thought that their numbers made it safe to stall while carrying out his requests instead of just moving on. Neither one of them could just swallow their pride and let it go, so the kid got fucked up. He pushed the guard, so the guard tossed him around a little. Hopefully it was a lesson learned for everyone.

ah i see
That security guard started the physical altercation by going after the cameraman, and then took that kids personal property (skateboard).
If I was there, and that was my friend being beaten by someone who is 100lbs heavier, i would have dropped that camera and been the 3rd man in.
Being a really big guy, and living in the middle of toughguyville USA, i have a lot a problems with nepoleonic little ***** trying to take me on. i usually throw them around like that, but it takes usually 1 or 2 punches to knock them unconscious.

While I was at work I was thinking about the psychological aspects of this video, and I hate to admit it, but we all fell for the fundamental attribution error. That simply means that we assumed that the way the guys acted was simply based on their attitudes rather than a mixture of their dispositions and the situational factors.
Basically what I'm saying is that we all reacted to the little part of the video that the skaters wanted us to see, without factoring in what happened before the start of the video (the security guard was there, so he didn't just come out of nowhere) as well as what had happened in the past that they didn't get on tape.
