It is happining here.
When Obama prints that 700 Billion because even the Chinese are not stupid enough to loan it to us by buying more "T" bills, that newly printed money is just like adding more water to water based paint. The volume of piant goes up, but its value as paint goes down. It takes more of the thinned paint to cover the surface.
So, by printing more money, he taxes you, by devaluing your money. And since no taxes were increased stupid people don't blame him. Inflation is a tax on the people. The goal is power. Reduce the value of all money. Force people to rely more and more on the government for everything. Give the 24 million beaners the right to vote (for democrats). Then you have a one party system.
Did you think the financial collapse we just had was an accident? What happened to the giant investigation Pelosi was going to start? Still wiating to find out who caused the Home loan FUBAR? The democrats. Barney Frank on point (again). So there will not be an investigation will there? Oh, no. Now we hear that we must not look backwards. We must look forward. Onward and upward christian soldiers.
So, if you don't look back, you won't see that the democrats have butt f--ked you real good this time.
All that change for electing Obama, and he appoints the usual suspects. Criminals from past democrat operations. Not a new face among them.
Look for world courts and united nations rules for cars and energy.
Buy more guns and ammo.

Which is why I didn't vote Obama. Far too socialist for me.
Funny how there won't be an investigation, when all the Dems did was sit on their butts while running the financial market into the ground (Barney and others), blame the republicans, and then people actually believed them. DING DING DING, I've said it over and over again, INFLATION IS A TAX. As far as the blame, well 1988RedT2 is spot on, this is an issue that both parties not only willingly created, but have perpetuated. With the exception of laying no blame at the republicans feet I agree with your post 100%. The Reps have been anything BUT the fiscal govt shrinking party they claim to be, in fact they've been quite the opposite under bush.
It's too early for me to get start on Pelosi and Barney Fife,.... i mean frank. Suffice to say, I'd love to be a juror at their treason trial as that is exactly what they deserve.
That's not to say there aren't some from both parties that have been the voice of reason, but no one listens to them, they are "crazy"....
If you look at my image below you will quickly see the velocity of the money supply and total debt has been tenacious regardless of who is in control of the senate or the oval office.
