yeah, but I hate zelda. always have, always will. I rented Metroid, and wasn't too into it. They need to do a remake of "River City Ransom," from the old NES game. Gang fights and all that.



I love racing games, and gamecube is just seriously lacking on racing games. And they need more adult-oriented games, there are too many cartoony-looking, kiddy games.

 

How can you not like sucking up ghosts with a vacuum and a green hat?!

Get both. Win/Win situation.



And I didn't like GTA3: Vice City as much as I did GTA3.

 

I have an XBox and a PS2 and both are good. I really could not pick on eover the other.



If I was purely picking for driving games I would have to say PS2 and GT3. No other game comes close I have tried a ton of them.



I loved playing Halo on the Xbox it is an awesome game.



I am going to get SOCOM and check it out. It seems like Xbox's emotion engine is more fluid than the PS2 but it just be the games. I know if I played Halo for too long I would get motion sickness and I have never had theat problem with any other game.





Go to Electronics Botique and buy refurbished game consoles. They are cheaper then you could buy both.

PS2 graphics are fairly horrid. Should have called in the jag station 2 as all it can do are jagged, pixiliated graphics.



Xbox has better graphics and is starting to get better games. There's far far more that can be done with the xbox that the PS2 can't do at all.



Xbox live kicks ***. yes you have to pay for it, yes you get what you pay for. Oh yes EA is going to charge for all it's online PS2 games. No shock there, EA is greedy as all hell.



Xbox live lets you download add ons and what not, can't do that with the PS2 even if you can go online with it.



PS2 has more games, most of them are namless crap. Quantity is not quality.



Take a look at Fable, Project Gotham Racing 2, BC and several of the other games coming up for the Xbox then compare those to the PS2.



I've owned almost every game system since the Magnavox Oddessy II (which predates the 2600) the xbox is the best console I've seen to date.



That being said, the PC is still the best game platform.

 

But it doesn't have GT3. How can I live without my Saturday morning GT3?

 

It's getting games that should be as good or better



And they LOOK great.

that's what I was thinking. I bought a PS1, and played GT2 every chance I got. If I played 2 more endurance races, I'd have the game beaten. I might buy a PS2 just for GT3.
