What else could you do with that cash though? You keep talking about buying things in cash, both of my cars have been bought with cash. (Not by me of course.) But that doesn't really mean anything. Buy with cash, buy with credit, you're still out an amount of money that could have probably been used for something else. Not to mention the bike will depreciate further, and add insurance to that (no matter how negligible) just doesn't seem worth it. Edit: Just seems like money spent on a dangerous toy.

How is buying with cash and credit the same thing? Am I fully retarted or just semi? If you buy something with credit and you don't have the cash for it your out double because you OWE. When I buy something in cash i'm out but I sure the **** don't OWE ****. I can use the money for something else, but its only a few thousand, im not buying a ferrari enzo here.

If you'll take the time to reread my post, you'll notice that I never said anything about them being the same thing, just that you're still amount a certain amoung of money. Sure credit can double what you end up paying, but you're still spending money on something that's little more than a toy.

And, by the way, I have absolutely no problem with you. I'm just trying to see how you justify some of this spending you talk about doing.
