At E3 2005 sony will announce yet ANOTHER price drop of the Playstation 2. 99 bucks will be the new price. Smart japanese. Meanwhile, Microsoft's Xbox 360 WILL be revealed at E3. They also have a small amount of details for the PS3.

Oooh, I love video games. Time to buy a new PS2 and mod chip my old one. I have import games that I WANT to play and can't.

I would highly doubt that. It just came out no more than 2 months ago. They would be stupid to do a thing like that.

Jeff-You are in luck, there are talks about bringing Half Life 2 to the original X-box. That would be pretty cool, considering my computer does not have a Pentium 4. God damned e-machines!

Anywhere that sells import games to be honest. play-asia.com is one place you can get them I believe. Although, there previous record has not been so good shipping and customer service wise.

This looks pretty cool though.

It seems really simple, but I already voided my warranty by taking my system apart, it needed to be cleaned and I tried to put a swap top and the damned swap top did not fit.

I have heard a few bad things about the new ps2's though. I would rather find an old system then buy a new one.

Man I ****** love my new one, I went thru 3 of the old PS2's cause they would all start eating games. The new PS2's have cd spindles like the Gamecube so it holds the game down with bearings, no chance of vibration really. Plus its got the ethernet port built in, its just better IMO.

True that, but it has no fan that is built in, so playing for long over hours is no more. And with the import stuff, don't get that product in that link I gave you, I just read that it is the worst thing to get.

Link of all the stuff you can use for imports. I know I know, it is on a DDR forum, but it is a pretty damn good write up if you ask me. Happy hunting.

Oh, and all that stuff in the first post are just speculations off of gameinformer.com

I don't have an Xbox but I think my bro's Athlon will be adequate. It has over 1GHz of computing power!
