I just watched "How It's Made" last night, where they showed some straight razors being made, cool stuff.

I shave with a DE razor, but more as a money-saving measure (mach 3's are expensive), so I don't collect them or consider it a hobby.

We just finished setting up a vegetable garden this weekend, so hopefully that takes off, I'd like it to be a hobby. We live on 3 acres, and I'd like to use more of it for something productive.

I did not realize that we were so sophisticated in the manners of gentlemen grooming haha, it was the best switch i made going to straights. Tyson i am a closet audiophile i love clear crisp sound (no one around me feels the same) i would love to see some more of your work or a forum you get info from i did not realize making your own speakers was even a option.

Building your own is the way to go. If someone else in your house decides how to decorate the place you can build them to meet their taste too. This is a technical term known as WAF, wife approval factor. usually they approve the budget too, the silver drivers you see there are $36 each, you'll spend more on the wood, but nobody needs to know that part. You would have to spend many thousands of dollars to top what you see in those pictures.

Start here. These guys build their own amps even.
