dude i think the exact same way. I mean what in the 1800s people live till like 50 -60 latest . i mean people are living to 80 now but big deal i mean science and medicine is like 44264262424 times better now and people are still dying and only living a little bit older than back in the day. dont get me wrong, i'm a health nut. i watch my diet like crazy and make sure i get what i feel is necessary in a day. I just don't stress over getting sick. i'll cross that bridge if/when I get there.
I just figure that if I eat healthy, my body will be strong enough to either fight off a disease on its own, or be strong enough to endure the treatments deemed necessary to cure me of the disease.
look at lance armstrong. He won the most grueling sporting event in the world 6 TIMES after recovering from cancer, and without any nuts.
me to, i go to the gym regulary, take all my vitamins and eat well. The last time i got sick or threw up (not from drinking sometimes) was when i was like 10. I haven't gotten the flu ever and never broke a bone or anything serious.

same here.
this summer i got HIT BY A CAR! and didn't break any bones except a toe. I had 90 external and over 100 internal stitches and now, less than 6 months later I am almost all the way back to where i was before the wreck. That made me a firm believer that working out and eating right will do more than any doctor ever could.
