Im in the process of getting a GSLSE suspention for my car and looking to buy lowering springs..BUT want some springs that will keep a stiffer ride..and lower it ..not one that will lower it and have a shitty ride..

I was looking into RacingBeats springs..BUT I saw some on Nopi a while ago for pretty cheap ..like $160. for all 4 compared to $50. a spring from RB

Do you notice the ride diffrence on the RB springs?Or should I just cut 1 in off? cause thats all they recommend to go on a first gen is 1in drop..right now..Im probally got a 2 or 3 in drop..and its rough..

Hey sorrow, man have to agree with turbovr6. I've certianly found it hard to get a decent ride from cut springs. My gen 1 is about 2inches lower and handles well although I've added urethane bushes to the control arms etc. A few guys in the clubs have gone lower again[more to brag I think!] and I can say the car's are bloody terrible to ride in. Unfortunatly RB springs here are about $150us a pair so not many guys use them!!

I think IF I cut the stock springs..I wont go now lower than 1 in..MOST sites I seendeal with dprings say 1 in is good for the 1st gen..

I just want a lowered spring..AND to still have the same tesoin of the stock hight...meaning no bottom outs..Right now..my car is to god dam low..I will have 16 in rims on it when Im done..
