Sorry this was in the "Other Cars" section but i moved it up here cuz I kinda need opinions fast cuz i need to call some people back ASAP and it wasnt getting much exposure int he other forum.

Anyways i've been savin up all summer and it looks like i might be forced to buy a new car in the next few months rather than keep saving as i had planned. Things on my 90 Accord keep going out, a/c, power locks, alternator. The only thing that still runs is the engine and especially a/c with our crazy oklahoma summer's i cant take it anymore because it's my daily driver. I've been scouring ad's for cars all summer and while i want a t2 I simply can't find any Turbo II's for decent prices within a 3 state radius. I've decided that I don't want an n/a and that it would just be not worth all the problems minus a turbo. So here's my Dilemma.

I've been able to find quite a few decent 4th Generation (92-96) Preludes for decent prices. While they might not be as fast as a turbo II and have less potential, and i can't work on them myself compared to a RX-7 they are a Honda meaning it would be a more practical daily driver. Also it's a 2+2 which means i can actually fit passengers in it and lastly i know it will be more reliable. The only problems are that i wouldn't be as happy with it as a Turbo II and they are less rare than the rotaries. I love the rotary and the Preludes are FWD on top of being piston engines which baffle the hell outo f me. One of the things is that they also have a more modern design a 90's style rather than the distinct 80s styling. As well as a better interior.

Anyways what should I do? I know that sometimes like with women you just have to wait for the right one but i'm really getting desperate.

I have put about 5 grand in replacing engine parts which was way to much money The car is in albuquerque, but like i said i dont know what i wanna do with my car yet. And i know u need a car now.

Well, part of my thinking was that Honda's "sports cars" still arent really true performance cars.

Also i was considering a 240sx, but i'd rather not cuz too many ricers have those and i dunno i'm just not too partial to them.

Preludes are nice. Reliable, decent performance, tons of potential and relatively cheap.

NSX and S2000 seem to do just fine for Honda as far as their sports cars go.

done, nothing

Also my friend brought up the point that i forgot. If you want an rx-7 and dont have money to spend then it's not a good idea especially with a turbo.
