I'm especially fond of cruising around with the windows down blaring the TLC hit; "No Scurbs".

texas country / americana

pat green, robert earl keen, CCR, roger creager, willie nelson, waylon jennings, etc

you know, songs made and sang by people, not computers, and with instruments that DONT involve the same cord electrically ripped over and over throughout the same song.

Depends on where im going.

Long drives--Something soft, mellow, but still keeps me awake hehe

Short drives--Tokyo/Yokohama where traffic moves fast from Stop light to stop light HAHA KORN!!

Normal everyday drives to the gym, store, train station etc... Sometimes the radio doesnt even make it on..

A bunch of stuff no one else has ever heard of.

I like everything except country and most rap/r&b. My 1st gen came with a tape deck so i really don't have any option other than the stereo. Occasionally I'll bring out the ol' mp3 player and listen to whatever. (sneakerpimps, telepopmusic, orbital, type-0-negative, fluke, tool, ministry, white zombie, beasty boys, STP, or anything else in ]my collection. Like i said, everything except non-musak

I am all about the Drum and Bass when I'm driving. Those energetic high hats and bass lines. The stuff just gets me goin'.

Lets see today it was Great Big Sea for most of the day. Otherwise Rich Mullins, Randy Stonehill, Phil Keaggy, Wes King, Jars of Clay, etc. Sometimes my kid plays Newsboys but mostly that doesn't last very long.

Also listen to stuff from the 80's. Can't stand rap, dance, techno and what not.

Its really a different story when you drive a 1973 model car with big hp the last thing you want to do is g your self up by listening to music unless you wish to die.
