K well my daily driver n/a came with just about straight through duals. A presilencer and straight through style mufflers, and has big tips. But when I accelerate hard i get a high overtone, like a rattle almost.

The exhaust sounds fine other than that, nice low tone, but that "blat" sounding **** is pissing me off to no end.

Can anyone tell me exactly what inside exhausts let's that specific frequency through or what is going on. It never sounded like that on my turbo (because of the turbo I'm sure) I need to know what does it so I can get rid of it.

it might be a resonance thing, you maybe want a longer tip or a different center muffler

i have a different cat-back that I think im going to try, but it has some rust on it so i'd rather fix this one. I really don't think anything is loose.

Its from the sharp, distinct exhaust pulses from a rotary. It is very hard to eliminate without a turbo. You will need a way to smooth out/break up the pulses. Theres a few options, such as the car chemistry inserts and dynatech vortex inserts, or you can go the more traditional route, and use a non-straight through muffler in your midpipe.
