this has always been my vision for a car wash-

old fashioned looking, nice landscaping, do oil changes, detailing, have a diner there so people can get thier car quick waxed and enjoy a burger at the same time, or they can get thier car washed and oil changed while they have breakfast.

at night you can make it like a Arnolds, encourage car clubs to meet there, they will frequent the diner, generate its own traffic during the day

make the car wash touchfree and offer handwash service as well.

the self serve shop has its good points and downs- what if someone is booked to bring thier car in and someone else is still taking up the space? how do you get rid of them? what if they dont pay? what if they get hurt or something gets stolen, what if they damage thier car putting it on the lift? its too much trouble and I cant even imagine how you would go about getting insurance for a place like that.

Yes thank you, I wanna put my 40 hours (or however manhy) and make the profits land in my pocket not others, land isn't a business, it's an investment, I'm talking about money OUTSIDE of say what I will retire on, I'm talking about doing something each day that I enjoy, as little stress as possible and maybe even putting some money in my pocket.

The car wash would be cool, however there are a bunch around here, i don't know that I could compete.

Amy came up with a good suggestion, a go kart track, maybe of the indoor/outdoor variety, use the nice fast electric models, but then again i don't know what the liability would be like.

I am not looking to invest in something necessarily, i don't want to throw my 150k at nothing, but I'm not looking to buy land, it would be boring for me to sit there all day... and I would go broke.

the only fear i would have with a fishing charter is that it could potentially take the fun out of one of my most enjoyable things in life.
