Just spoke with one of our pilots who flew yesterday AFTERNOON (gas prices here at that time were 3.30 a gallon for reg) on 9/2/05 down to New Orleans for one of our clients. He said from the air, there is no water in the streets anymore that he could see, buildings are on fire everywhere, some roads are broken up, insurance people are having a hay day.... eating/drinking wasting trays and trays of gourmet food, while people 20 feet away are starving. Instead of giving to the people in need, they are throwing it out.



WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH THIS ******* SITUATION ?!?!?



Also, gas in Texas was 2.18 a gallon for reg. unleaded and 1.85 for diesel .. i think the gas prices are a ******* joke. (3.30 for reg now)... its probably sending people into panic, but i think that the gas companies are just shorting the supply on purpose, for there own good..



Think about this... If only 7-10% of our supply comes from down there, How can gas prices jump a whole dollar almost overnight... Seriously, we still have 90-93% of **** running !!!



He also said that from the air, its easy to see that New Orleans didn't get hit that bad, I believe it was Alabama that looked the worse. The only reason New Orleans got fucked over so bad was because of the levies breaking.

I know that the situation is probably a little beyond them, but haven't heard anything about what they are doing.

Thats the one! Then she told the reporter he was looting, and he's like no I'm not! I think she had a cart with purses and other various clothing in it.
