no no... Im telling you you dont speak for the whole community, no one does. If you dont care what my opinion is, then why did you reply? The debate of hackers vs crackers can go any way you really want to look at it (yes hackers do get a bad name from script kiddies who watched 'hackers' and the 'matrix' a few too many times ... but then again, doesnt that resemble ricers and F&F?). Any way you look at it society has already made its mind on what a 'hacker' is ... no real changing it. And I didnt disagree with you about yelling root... someone yelling root when they gain root access on a system is retarded.

yea thats what i thought but hopefully you can understand why i get defensive on the subject, when an entire community is frowned upon without reason or even correct knowledge it tends to make the members a bit edgy, sorry if anything was inflammatory, and yes anyone who yells root is retarded.
