Ahh, once a person owns a car they're entitled to do whatever they want to it. If I bought a Ferrari 550 and wanted to throw in 3 cylinder Suzuki motor I could. Hell, maybe somebody will throw a Honda motor in an RX-7 and converte it to FWD.

I REALLY dont think its a 10AE, it just has the parts. Interior and some badges, big deal, you talking a few hours worth of work! Maybe someone stole a AE and this guy or the previous owner got the parts, maybe the previous owner had one as a parts car, who knows.
